Our Constellation Range of blended roving is an incredibly soft and lustrous combination of 70% vibrantly dyed merino wool top and 30% tussah silk in multiple contrasting colors that create a tonal blend that has out of this world depth and star-worthy sheen.. This roving is perfect for hand felting, nuno felting, wet felting, hand spinning, and many other creative fiber projects. This silky smooth blend is simply divine to work with. Simply put, the Constellation Range will have you starry eyed! NEEDLE & WET FELTING: Merino wool felts very easily. It makes for a great core wool and the soft fibers are excellent for fine details and crafting. SPINNING, KNITTING, WEAVING: Will find its way in many projects. This luxurious fiber is beautifully dyed and a dream to spin on a spinning wheel or drop spindle. Spin as is, or use a blending board to add in additional colors! SOFT & DURABLE: With Staple Length: 3-4 inches (roughly 90 mm) and Micron Average: 20 | This merino and silk blend feels very soft and gentle to the touch and is ideal for knitting garments for direct skin contact.
